For those of you who may not know, my Caerula is incredibly shy, to the point where she hardly speaks to anybody. I've been trying to think of a way for her to express herself in lieu of words, and Rookie141's Flowers comic inspired me in more than one way. Vitox's cool and confident exterior is something Caerula would admire quite a bit, and after seeing her frankly adorable response to Perigrim's gift, that admiration turned into a crush and she decided to give Vitox a flower of her own. Now, originally, it was going to just be a single flower. However, as I was sketching this comic I was thinking about what sort of flower it should be and then it hit me- floriography. It's an old method of cryptic communication using flowers, and honestly, it fits Caerula perfectly. A quiet loon like her would be at home in a little garden, and telling another loon exactly what she felt without using any words- and without them understanding- would probably feel pretty great to her.

This bouquet is pretty simple- just purple lilacs, which represent the first feelings of love, and clovenlip toadflax (great name, I know), which means "notice my feelings for you." It says everything while saying nothing, but there's still just one problem... she still needed to muster up the courage to actually give the bouquet to Vitox.

omg this is so cute and sweet and sad all at the same time T^T I feel for Caerula, I knew she is shy but... ah but at least she found a way to express herself, I really root for her!
